Release
Web Radio Control 2.0 is coming, with a free beta on November 25

Web Radio Control 2.0 is the biggest update since the first release. It lets you run your amateur radio station from any browser: radios, rotators, amplifiers and antenna switches, from a phone, a tablet or a desktop.
Set up in the browser
- A guided setup in the browser ensures technical complexity is gone: configure and test your devices with powerful diagnostics for device connectivity.
- Add a radio by picking it: it’s found, asked which model it is, and tested before you transmit.
- Your station gets its own address under
wrcs.tech, with a trusted certificate: no browser warnings. - Easy software updates from the browser, with a way back to revert updates, and the station makes a backup of its settings every night.
Operate from anywhere
- Customizable layouts for phones, tablets and desktops, split and both VFOs included.
- Clear audio: high-quality Opus compression, or uncompressed audio when your connection allows.
- Digital modes with WSJT-X and fldigi, through WRC Link, the renewed helper app on your computer.
- Amplifier control: power, meters, inputs, antennas and tuning, first for SPE Expert amplifiers, more coming soon.
Logbook, spots and map
- A built-in logbook with ADIF import and export.
- DX cluster spots: tap one to tune, set the split and turn the beam.
- One map for the beam, the gray line, spots and where you’re heard.
- Your contacts sent to Wavelog or Cloudlog.
For clubs
- Personal logins and roles for every member.
- Bookings: one tap for now, a calendar for later.
- One operator on the air at a time.
- Coming soon: text chat for station users.
Safe to open to the internet
- Secure default settings and encrypted connections. Firewall enabled, login and SSH guards in place from the start.
- The WRC Cloud Service runs in the EU.
- Support for private networking, such as Tailscale.
The free 2.0 beta
The beta runs on a Raspberry Pi 3, 4 or 5 at the station. It is free to try, and 2.0’s new pricing comes with it on November 25. If you have a 0.13 license, it carries over to 2.0. 2.0 is a fresh install: you add your devices again in the guided setup. Sign up for the release news below, and we’ll email you when the beta is out.
Version 0.13 stays available on the 0.13 site, linked at the top of every page here, with its downloads, pricing and trial.
